Boiled Fruit Cake
Ingredients
- ½ cup Lupin Flour

2 cups mixed fruit

1 cup dark brown sugar

4 tsp butter

1 tsp bi-carbonate soda

3 tsp golden syrup

1 cup water

1½ cups self raising flour

2 eggs

1 tsp mixed spices
Method
Place mixed fruit, sugar, butter, bi-carb soda, golden syrup and water in saucepan.
Bring to boil and simmer for 1 minute only. Allow to cool then add the rest of the ingredients and combine well.
Bake in moderate oven for approx 1½ hours.
